The Nash County Arts Council presents its first "Unplugged: An Acoustic Battle" fundraiser. This event will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 2PM - Until. Tickets will be $20 in advance or $25 at the door. (Nash Arts members do not receive discounts and no season tickets will be issued for this event.) Participant registrations are $50, with (optional) merch opportunities available for additional fees. Bids start at $1. The participant raising the most money in bids wins $1,000. Participants may collect pre-bids to turn into the office prior to the show, and boxes will be placed on the stage for each artist or group on the day of the show for attendees to place their bids. Entertainment will be provided by our participants, of course, and our emcee, Meredith Davis Johnson. A cash bar will be available. Lineup and number of acts per participant will be determined, based on registration results. Registration deadline is May 17th by 5p.m. A meeting will be held for the participants on Monday, May 20th at 5:30p.m. We are currently seeking event sponsors to assist in covering the prize, sound & technical production, and other expenses.
