Perfect for hosting your upcoming holiday and football parties, or to gift for Christmas or to your favorite hostess! Cost is $40 General or $35 Arts Council Members. Instructed by Regina Pena! The board is made from red cedar with live edge. (Please note that the live edge bark can flake off over time as the board dries and seasons). Each board is approximately 10” x 10” and 1” thick. Black metal handles will also be provided. Regina will guide you in preparing the board for burning. You will learn how to transfer a design onto your board, wood burning techniques in creating the design, and how to clean and maintain your board at home.
Instructor will provide:
- Approximate 10" X 10" Red Cedar Boards with attached metal handles
- Wood burning tools
- Stencils for designs.
You should bring:
- Your creativity
- Your own stencil/possible designs, if desired (Design not to exceed 8" X 8". Instructor will also be providing stencils, so this is not required. If you have a specific idea in mind, please email Regina at [email protected])
